Donations currently go to the Calgary Aquabelles club and will support the foundation as it launches.
Why we're building a foundation.
Since 1966, the Calgary Aquabelles have given girls a place to train, compete, and belong. In that time the club has produced Olympians, coaches, and lifelong friendships.
But the cost of running a club keeps rising. Pool time, coaching, travel, and competition fees all add up, and those costs land on families. Too many girls leave sport not because they've lost their love for it, but because it's become too expensive. Sponsorship for sport is hard to find, so we're taking matters into our own hands.
The Calgary Aquabelles Foundation will help keep our sport affordable, accessible, and sustainable for the next generation.
Why girls in sport matters
Skills for life. Artistic swimming teaches teamwork, dedication, commitment, and time management. Swimmers learn to rely on themselves and on each other.
Real connection. For a generation growing up on screens, sport is a place to show up, be present, and build friendships face to face.
A sport with a future. Sixty years of history only matters if there are swimmers to carry it forward. Your support helps make sure there will be.
