Kiira’s journey in artistic swimming started when she was 7 years old. She loved water, dance and gymnastics and found with Synchro she could do it all and not have to pick! The best part so far for Kiira is the great friendships she has made. She loves how much fun Synchro is, but also appreciates the challenging nature of the sport which pushes her to keep improving and be her personal best.

One of Kiira’s favourite memories so far was her first competition in 10 & U when all the senior Aquabelles gathered on deck to cheer the team on. With a personal best swim for all teammates, her 11 & 12 Team won the Canadian Prairie Championship in 2018. Kiira is also the proud recipient of the Calgary Aquabelles ‘Most Improved’ award for 10 & U. ‘I don’t think I stopped smiling for over a week!’
